Abstract
High frequency surgery has inherent residual risks, which, combined with handling errors, have led in the past to medical-technical incidents. Low-energy microsurgical HF instruments and operating methods make laparopelviscopic surgery safer and more precise. Technical-physical aspects and surgical application areas for monopolar microneedle electrodes in gynaecology are reported here. The clinical experiences are based on a large number of cases during a 6 year period.
