Manual laparoscopic suturing and knot tying made easy

Pages 29-33 | Published online: 10 Jul 2009

Abstract

Manual laparoscopic suturing can be a difficult and time-consuming procedure even in the hands of an experienced surgeon. Percutaneous introduction and removal of the suture through a vantage point not only helps in laparoscopic manipulation but also allows its extracorporeal manipulation, thereby making laparoscopic suturing and knot tying a much simpler procedure.
