Acquired Receptive Language Difficulties in Childhood: a Case Study

Abstract

The case history of an eight-year-old girl with an acquired receptive language difficulty is reported. The remedial programme is described, together with an analysis of her progress. The importance of detailed case reporting and the relative merits of diagnostic categories are discussed.
