Abstract
This study was a preliminary attempt to explore the use of Luria's Neuropsychological Investigation and a dichotic consonant-vowel (CV) listening task, in highlighting the symptomatology and in investigating the possibility of central dysfunction in an adult clutterer. On Luria's Neuropsychological Investigation, the symptomatology was consistent with a lesion in the left fronto-temporal division which was confirmed on the electroencephalogram. Findings on the dichotic CV listening task suggested a disturbance in auditory processing, possibly a specific disturbance in place perception. Prognostic and clinical implications are discussed.
