Conference news

Is the date in your diary? Primary Care at the leading edge–Amsterdam 26 (eve)–27 May 2011—IPCRG Scientific Meeting

Online registration and abstract submission is now live for our no-frills scientific meeting in Amsterdam in May. We have three categories: Clinical Research (includes both qualitative and quantitative research), Implementation Science/Service Development and Research Ideas. We hope that you will submit an abstract and actively encourage your colleagues to submit one too. Can you notify three or four national institutes asking them to highlight the meeting to researchers and service implementation colleagues? Contact our office if you want some electronic flyers to circulate: [email protected]; or go to http://www.theipcrg.org/sci_conf_2011/index.php for more information.

The IPCRG appreciates that oral presentations can seem intimidating to new researchers, particularly those whose first language is not English. However, we believe it is a more valuable way of sharing research and we want to encourage researchers to try. Therefore, the IPCRG Research Network may offer some support to new or inexperienced researchers whose first language is not English. Please complete the relevant question on the abstract submission form.
