Principles of the Frequency Composition of Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields

Pages 67-77 | Published online: 18 Feb 2010

Abstract

The frequency composition of typical pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMFs), and the principles determining the changes in frequency composition which occur as parameters such as pulse width and repetition rate are altered, are described. The implications of these frequency compositions for prediction of biological responses to PEMFs are also discussed.
