Abstract

The electrostimulation of ATP content in S. cerevisiae was controlled carefully in the low-frequency range (50 and 80 Hz) of 0.5–10.0 mT under most simple Helmholtz coil conditions for 10–30-niin exposures. Contrary to other authors, no significant windows in this range could be determined. Because of the significance of ATP for the whole field of electrostimulation research, our results also represent a basis for further testing under modulated high-frequency treatment, cyclotron resonance conditions, capacitative coupling, and on cell cycle dependence.
