Methadone EMIT-Structure Versus Reactivity

Pages 783-792 | Published online: 25 Sep 2008

Abstract

Fifteen different methadone-related substances were analyzed by EMIT (Enzyme Multiplied Immunoassay Technique) at several different concentrations. An attempt was made to relate structural differences to the affinity of the substances for the EMIT methadone antibody. All structural changes to the methadone molecule studied were found to reduce reactivity.
