Abstract
Using rabbits as experimental animals for paraquat percutaneous absorption studies, paraquat concentrations in the skin and in the blood were measured simultaneously after various times of exposure. The obtained results indicate the existence of a paraquat reservoir in the rabbit's skin for at least 1 day after the end of exposure.
