Abstract

A multimedia package has been designed for use as a complement to clinical bedside teaching and to aid the development of skills in clinical examination. The package comprises a booklet, self-assessment slide programme and six videotapes and is intended for individual and group learning. The planning and production of the package is described together with assessment of the students' reactions.
