Abstract
Postgraduate medical television started in London in 1970. The scale of production was enormous by any standards and this was only achieved by adopting mass production techniques. The problems of maintaining this rate of production, in spite of a very busy medical profession, are discussed, along with the pros and cons, of disposable television.
