Abstract
A study tour was undertaken in August 1980 of medical schools in four Far East countries to study the organization of medical illustration and related services. The tour, and subsequent attendance to report on it at the IMBI International Conference in Stirling in September 1980, was made possible by a grant from the Commonwealth Foundation. Additional information was obtained from replies to a questionnaire sent to fifteen medical schools in other Far East countries and from first hand experience of the facilities in Hong Kong.
