Learning at a distance

Abstract

Dundee College of Education offers a course in educational technology for teachers, trainers and communicators, and because most people involved in educational technology cannot easily be released for a year, the course is made available through distance learning. It is hoped that the description of the course that follows will be of interest for two reasons: some people may like to know more about the course as such; others may be more interested in the mode of teaching and the implications of distance education in their own discipline.
