Abstract

A method is described for the reconstruction of specimens from serial histological sections that permits measurements to be made on the two-dimensional representations of the reconstruction. With this technique, sections are plotted on an isometric triaxial grid and measurements may be obtained from the reconstruction and from transections of the reconstruction made in any plane required.
