Abstract

As part of the general enquiry by the Education Committee of the Institute of Medical and Biological Illustration into the desirability of introducing an examination scheme, two questionnaires were devised to seek the views of members on the question of tuition. One questionnaire was prepared for trainees and the recently qualified, the other for more senior medical illustrators, in order to gain information on existing learning facilities, the willingness of members to participate in a training scheme and members' preferences concerning the most useful type of training. The results are presented and discussed.
