Use of a microcomputer in a department of medical illustration for retrieval of clinical teaching slides

Abstract

In the large medical teaching slide collections which have been built up, often over many years, in medical illustration departments, there is a need for an efficient classifying and cataloguing system. A system is described which places the cataloguing and retrieval of data under the control of a microcomputer.
