Model based transparencies for gross anatomical teaching

Abstract

To help medical students to have a greater understanding of human anatomy, purpose made models were produced and then photographed as transparencies. By projecting the transparencies using twin projectors and incorporating a dissolve unit, a series of images could be gradually built of the models to give sequential detail of anatomical structure.
