Stereophotography in ophthalmology: Part I

Pages 135-140 | Published online: 10 Jul 2009

Abstract

Stereoscopy enjoys a special pride of place in ophthalmology, having particular application to the transparent media of the eye. Considerable ingenuity has been exercised over the years to secure valid three-dimensional images of both the posterior and anterior ocular segments. Retinal photography is considered first in this two-part review.
