Abstract
The mapping of vascularized areas of the body tissues by means of fluorescein dye has had several applications and in some techniques it is used as a diagnostic aid.
The latest development with this well-practised procedure is an attempt to observe the vascular pattern of the synovial membrane in the knee joint in patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and other related arthritic diseases. This paper discusses the procedure and some of the unsolved photographic problems related to this technique.
