Abstract
Leg length inequalities or short stature can create many problems, both physical and psychological. Orthopaedic surgeons try to overcome the physical difficulties by lengthening either one or both legs. Composite photographs aid this process by enabling both surgeon and patient to see the effect of lengthening on body proportion.
