Pages 25-33 | Published online: 10 Jul 2009

Abstract

The second and concluding part of this survey reviews the range of interactive video projects undertaken by the US National Library of Medicine. The application of new technologies, primarily in radiology image management, is described, as is a modern academic interactive media laboratory with many of its educational projects. The final papers review the careful scholarly work in nursing education research and instructional design carried out by two major institutions, as well as their major educational programs.
