Retrofascial pyogenic iliac fossa abscess

Abstract

Twenty patients with a pyogenic iliac fossa abscess were analyzed. The main clinical signs were fever, limp, pain, and flexion deformity of the hip. Ultrasonography was a reliable diagnostic test.
