Abstract

A comparison has been made between scintigraphy with radioactive gold and selective angiography as methods of diagnosing amebic liver abscess in a small series begun in 1965. In 5 cases with a positive scintigraphy, the diagnosis of a liver abscess was supported by angiography in 3.
