Summary
The study was based on 169 psoriasis patients with some kind of joint involvement and 140 patients with rheumatoid arthritis, who were compared roentgenologically. In 23.1 % of the cases of psoriasis arthropathy the articular symptoms preceded the skin lesions. Even though the erosive and osteolytic character has been emphasized in psoriasis associated with arthropathy, the case material studied showed no roentgenological picture, which could be regarded as characteristic of psoriatic arthritis, except the typical localization of changes to the distal joints of the fingers and/or the interphalangeal joints of the lateral toes.
Résumé
La présente étude a été basée sur 169 malades atteints de psoriasis avec une espèce de processus articulaire ainsi que sur 140 malades atteints de polyarthrite chronique évolutive comparés par examen radiologique.
Dans 23.1 % des cas de arthropathie psoriatique que les symptômes articulaires ont précédé les lésions de la peau. Même si le caractère érosif et ostéolytique a été accentué dans la psoriasis accompagnée d'arthropathie, le matériel des cas étudiés n'a pas montré d'aspect radiologique pouvant être considéré comme caractéristique de l'arthrite psoriatique excepté en localisation typique d'altérations dans les articulations distales des doigts et/ou des articulations interphalangiennes des doigts de pied latéraux.
Zusammenfassung
Die Abhandlung bezog sich auf 169 Psoriasis-Patienten mit einer Art von Gelenkprozess und 140 Patienten mit chronischen Gelenkrheumatismus, die röntgenologisch verglichen wurden. In 23.1 % der Fälle von Arthropathia psoriatica gingen die Gelenksymptome den Hauterkrankungen voraus. Wenn auch der erosive und osteolytische Charakter in der mit Arthropatie verbundenen Psoriasis hervorgehoben wurde, so zeigte das untersuchte Patienten-material kein röntgenologisches Bild, das als charakteristisch für die Arthritis psoriatica betrachtet werden konnte, mit Ausnahme der typischen Lokalisierung von Veränderungen der distalen Fingergelenke und/oder der interphalangeal Gelenke der seitlichen Zehen.
