The Accumulation of Aurothiomalate into the Rat Liver Cells during the Damaging of Lysosomes with Vitamin A

Summary

When the liver cells of the rat were treated with alcoholical form of vitamin A this caused the release of lysosomal acid phosphatase into the cytoplasma. Simultaneously the transportation of aurothiomalate increased notably. The too high concentrations of vitamin A, however, caused autolysis in the cells and the decrease of the accumulation of gold.

Résumé

Lorsque les cellules du foie d'un rat furent traitées avec une forme alcoolique de vitamine A, cela provoqua la libération de phosphatase acide lysosomale dans le cytoplasme. En même temps le transport d'aurothiomalate augmenta notablement. Les concentrations excessives de vitamine A causèrent, toutefois, une autolyse dans les cellules et un décroissement de l'accumulation d'or.

Zusammenfassung

Wurden die Leberzellen der Ratte mit einer alkoholischen Art des Vitamins A behandelt, so verursachte dies die Freigabe von lysosomaler saurer Phosphatase an das Zytoplasma. Gleichzeitig nahm der Transport von Aurothiomalat deutlich zu. Die zu hohe Konzentration von Vitamin A verursachte jedoch eine Autolyse in den Zellen und ein Zurückgehen der Goldanhäufung.
