Some Aspects of Antarctic Geophysics^*

Abstract

This paper is concerned mostly with the Antarctic Ice Sheet-first, the time required for the ice to build up to its present mass; second, its resent budget in terms of annual import and export; and third, its important role in the manufacture of cold air.
