Abstract
The pH of rainfall samples collected by event were measured at three sites in the VenezuelanSavannah. The volume-weighted average pH values at Camburito, Joaquin del Tigre andLa Paragua were 4.4, 5.1 and 4.8, respectively. These low pH values are in agreement with thereported values for other rural areas of tropical America.
