Having prostate cancer is one of the most disturbing events that can happen in a man's life, but some men may be even more concerned by the incontinence and impotence that can follow cancer therapies. While treating these and other posttherapy complications and monitoring patients for cancer recurrence, physicians have a unique opportunity to help these men deal with both the sexual and psychological aspects of their illness and recovery.
