Abstract
Doctors today have access to an expanding arsenal of great new drugs that can improve patients' health and quality of life. That's the good news. The bad news is that drugs can also cause adverse reactions. Unfortunately, too many drug reactions go unrecognized and unreported. When a reaction is identified to a drug that has been on the market for years and has thousands of users, the news often makes the headlines, leading to confusion and fear.
