PREVIEW

Foot problems are a well-known consequence of diabetes, and many of them begin with trauma that goes unnoticed because the patient lacks normal sensation in the feet. Prickling and burning in the extremities are also common signs of neuropathy in diabetic patients. And, as the authors explain, there are many presentations that are less common but are still the result of peripheral neuropathy. In addition, diabetes is not the only endocrinologie cause. The authors summarize how to identify the source of such problems and provide symptomatic relief.
