Preventive foot care

A user-friendly system for patients and physicians

, MD, , OTC & , MS
Pages 233-245 | Published online: 30 Jun 2015

PREVIEW

Today's primary care physicians are called on to offer more comprehensive patient care, including foot care that was once provided by other specialists. Many grading systems and screening protocols for foot conditions focus on disease rather than offering preventive care guidelines to help avoid costly and sometimes dangerous complications. The authors' user-friendly system for evaluating and managing foot skin and nail problems is designed to make preventive foot care simple and practical for both patients and physicians.
