Facial paralysis has myriad causes, but in most cases an accurate diagnosis can be made on the basis of clinical evaluation without performing costly tests. Dr Ruckenstein offers a practical diagnostic approach derived from three questions designed to help physicians correctly identify the cause of paralysis and institute appropriate therapy.
