PREVIEW

Does careful management of blood pressure make a difference in patients with diabetes? The authors explain the risks associated with combined diabetes and hypertension and clarify the benefits of aggressive treatment. They continue their discussion in next month's issue with an article examining the perceived and real barriers to effective treatment. The final article, to be published in April, focuses on how best to implement therapy to control diabetic hypertension.
