PREVIEW

Adverse reactions to medications are an unfortunate but common part of modern medical practice. Although only a fraction of all adverse drug reactions represent an immunologic response, it is important to identify patients who have had an allergic reaction to a particular medication or class of medications. Dr Weiss discusses the various types of adverse drug reactions that can occur and describes the diagnostic measures available for determining whether a patient's reaction is a true drug allergy.
