Abstract
Understanding how tumor suppressor genes are inactivated is important for thedevelopment of drugs capable of reactivating them. In this issue of CancerBiology & Therapy, Sakamoto and colleagues analyze expression of CABLES innumerous ovarian cancers. This month’s cover shows that expression of the tumorsuppressor CABLES is present in the nuclei of cells in ovarian inclusion cysts(solid arrow) but lost from the nuclei of cancerous regions (open arrow). Themechanisms of CABLES inactivation are further described in the article bySakamoto et al.
