LOCAL INFLOW CALCULATOR FOR RESERVOIRS

Abstract

Local inflows calculated using the water balance equation are often contaminated with errors or noises. This paper discusses the new methodology used as an embedded function of Ontario Hydro’s new Energy and Resources Information System (ERIS) for the daily calculation of alternative local inflows.

Les influx locaux calculés en utilisant l’équation d’équilibre de l’eau sont souvent contaminés par des erreurs de calcul. Cet article présente une nouvelle méthode de calcul qui fait partie intégrante du nouveau système d’information sur l’Energie et les Ressources (ERIS) de Hydro Ontario.
