Abstract

This is the transcript of the talk given by Mr Malik R Dahlan at the 2011 Annual Conference of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law. An expert in Islamic governance in the Middle East and the wider Arab World, Mr Dahlan pointed out the significance of underlying ethical values and dispute resolution in the development of the Islamic Finance industry, which are also positive aspects that can be of assistance to “conventional” finance.
