Reconfiguring Margins: Secondhand Clothing and Street Vending in the Philippines

B. Lynne Milgram B. Lynne Milgram is Professor of Anthropology at OCAD University Toronto, Canada. Her research on gender and globalization in the Philippines analyzes issues of illegality/legality, formal/ informal work, and transformations of urban public space with regard to women's work in crafts, the secondhand clothing industry, and street vending. She has co-edited a number of volumes and published her research in journals and edited books, most recently, Street Economies in the Urban Global South (with K. Tranberg Hansen and W. Little, forthcoming).
