Towards culture change in the operating theatre: Embedding a complex educational intervention to improve teamwork climate

Jon AllardUniversity of Plymouth, UK; JON ALLARD, PhD (Cand.), MSc, BA (Hons), is a PhD candidate, Peninsula Medical School, due to complete in Spring 2012. His topic is micropolitics of clinical teams. He was a lead researcher on the TTRM project for 4 years, and is lead and co-author of a number of peer-reviewed papers arising from the project.

Adrian HobbsRoyal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, UK; ADRIAN HOBBS, PGCert, BM, BS, is a consultant anaesthetist, Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, and a clinical tutor, Peninsula Medical School. He is clinical research lead on the TTRM project, and co-author of a number of peer-reviewed papers arising from the project. He has a long-standing interest and expertise in patient safety and has given many high-profile talks nationally.
