ABSTRACT
Regional pollution across Ukraine is analysed by emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, contaminated water, and waste generation. In the interests of post-war recovery, we propose integration of climate goals within all sectors of the economy and public life; minimising environmental hazards; arresting industrial pollution by introducing the polluter-pays principle; effective waste management; conservation of natural resources; restoration and development of protected areas, biodiversity conservation and increasing areas of natural ecosystems; and achievement of European standards of public administration in the field.
