Rebecca M. Bender
Rebecca Bender is Assistant Professor of Spanish at Kansas State University, where she teaches courses on Spanish and Latin American literature and culture. Her main area of expertise is early twentieth-century Spanish Peninsular literature, specifically women’s literature, Kiosk novelas, and avant-garde narratives. Her current book project focuses on the literary representation of motherhood by Carmen de Burgos, Margarita Nelken, and Federica Montseny, in the context of first-wave Spanish feminism.
