&
Pages 129-139 | Published online: 22 Sep 2021

Abstract

The editors are thrilled to present this special issue of Symposium in honor of celebrated poet and long-time Syracuse University professor, Jaime Ferrán. This year we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the journal and the 76th anniversary of the Centro de Estudios Hispánicos, vibrant legacies still thriving to this day in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Syracuse University. The articles and testimonies that comprise this special issue point to the major influence of Ferrán’s poetry on mid-century Spanish letters as well as his spirit of generosity that lives in his body of work and life experience.
