Pablo Ancos

Pablo Ancos is associate professor of Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He specializes in medieval Spanish literature, with emphasis on thirteenth-century cuaderna vía poetry and issues concerning the interplay of the letter and the voice in the production and communication of medieval literature, the subject of several articles as well as his book Transmisión y recepción primarias de la poesía del «mester de clerecía». He has coedited with Ivy A. Corfis Two Spanish Masterpieces: A Celebration of the Life and Work of María Rosa Lida de Malkiel and has participated in the electronic transcription and edition of several sixteenth-century chivalric and historical texts for the Hispanic Seminary of Medieval Studies.
