Nonlinear maps commuting with the λ-Aluthge transform under (n,m)–Jordan-triple product

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we give a complete form of bijective (not necessarily linear) maps Φ:B(H)B(K) where H,K are Hilbert spaces with dimH2 that satisfy Δλ(Φ(A)Φ(B))=Φ(Δλ(AB)) for all A,BB(H), where Δλ(T) is the λ-Aluthge transform of T and the operation AB=AnBAm n+m1 is the (n,m)-Jordan-triple product. We show that there exists a unitary or anti-unitary operator U:HK and a constant αC, with αn+m=1 such that Φ(T)=αUTUfor every TB(H).
