Abstract

In this paper, we have introduced a generalized version of multiple dependent state sampling plan called generalized multiple dependent state sampling plan. The conditions of application and operating procedure of this new plan are also proposed. The performance measures such as the probability of acceptance, average sample number and average total inspection are derived. The optimal parameters are determined based on two points on the operating characteristic curve approach under both fraction non-conforming and fraction non-conformities. The efficiency of proposed plan is also discussed over the existing attribute sampling plans. Finally economic aspect of designing of the proposed plan is discussed.
