Abstract

In this article, a Metallic Via(M-Via) based eight-port compact Ultra-Wideband (UWB) MIMO antenna is introduced for IoT applications. In proposed UWB MIMO antenna design, we employed a simple Metallic Via(M-Via) integration technique to achieve UWB bandwidth with a compact size of 54×54 mm3. The important antenna parameters, such as reflection coefficient, mutual coupling, the Peak gain, radiation pattern, and radiation efficiency, are analysed. In addition, MIMO parameters such as ECC, DG, TARC, and CCL are experimentally analysed. Also, the proposed antenna is demonstrated in a real-time environment.
