Vincent Kling teaches German and Comparative Literature at La Salle University. His transltion of Heimito von Doderer’s The Strudlhof Steps recently appeared from New York Review of Books. He won the Schlegel-Tieck Prize in 2014 for his translation of Aglaja Veteranyi’s novel Why the Child is Cooking in the Polenta.
