Leonard Michaels
Leonard Michaels (1933-2003), a writer and native of New York, was a longtime professor of English at the University of California, Berkeley. He published several collections of short stories, including Going Places (1969) and I Would Have Saved Them If I Could (1975), and the novels The Men’s Club (1981) and Sylvia (1992).
