Nguyen-Khang Pham
Nguyen-Khang Pham is an associate professor in the College of Information and Communication Technology at Can Tho University, Vietnam. He earned his PhD in computer science from the University of Rennes-1, France. His research has focused on machine learning and data analysis.
Jean-Hugues Chauchat
Jean-Hugues Chauchat is professor emeritus of statistics at University Lumière Lyon-2, France. He earned his PhD in applied mathematics from the University Claude Bernard Lyon-1, after earning master’s degrees in economics from the University Paris-1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and statistics from the University Pierre et Marie Curie - UPMC (Paris 6). Chauchat has collaborated with researchers in management, linguistics, natural language processing, geography, medicine, and genetics. He works at the ERIC laboratory in the data science and digital humanities fields and collaborates with archaeologists and historians of the Paris Time Machine research consortium.
Jean Dumais
Jean Dumais completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in mathematics and statistics at UQAM in Montréal, Canada. He is now retired from Statistics Canada, where he worked his whole career as a survey statistician. Dumais devoted the better part of the last 20 years of his career to international comparative studies in education (e.g., TIMSS, ICILS, TALIS). He now shares his time between his family, woodworking, and a rekindled interest in more abstract mathematics.
