ABSTRACT
The work is carried out on the study of weldability at the linear friction welding (LFW) of samples from heat-resistant titanium alloys VT8-1 with VT41. The work is relevant, since the technology of linear friction welding can be used in the manufacture of high pressure impellers (blisks) for modern promising gas turbine engines. It will improve the technical characteristics of the final product, reduce costs, and improve the control measuring machines (CMM). The received results showed that the LFW technology allows to obtain welded joints with strength at the level of the least durable of the welded materials.
